Celebrities kept the party going after the Met Gala as they headed to afterparty celebrations taking place in New York City. One of the gala’s cochairs, Blake Lively, cohosted a star-studded crowd at the main party at the Standard Hotel. For the occasion, Lively traded her floor-sweeping, color-changing Atelier Versace gown for a corseted minidress that still reflected the “Gilded Glamour” theme. The red beaded number featured an armor-style bodice and black fringe lining the short, scalloped hem and cap sleeves. She joined the afterparty cohost Cardi B, who was clad in another Versace ensemble, this time a black halter dress with a plunging neckline and gilded bra cones.
“Bridgerton” actress Simone Ashley also made an appearance, embracing color in a belted leather minidress with zippered pockets and contrasting sleeves. It was a departure from her dark corset and skirt ensemble on the Met Gala red carpet, but one that certainly made for an eye-catching moment.
Other stars in attendance included Dua Lipa, who skipped the red carpet but showed out in a Versace corset dress at the afterparties; Dove Cameron in an off-the-shoulder minidress; Normani in a crop top with a front cutout; and Camila Cabello, who stood out in a feathered dress and long coat.
Meanwhile, Jodie Turner-Smith headed to Casa Cipriani with husband Joshua Jackson for a nightcap, clad in a sporty red maxi dress from the recently unveiled Gucci x Adidas collaboration. And Kendall Jenner chose Zero Bond as her afterparty stop, joining Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid in a sheer two-piece Miu Miu ensemble with pink satin lingerie peeking underneath.
Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian didn’t join the festivities, instead choosing to hang out with her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, after channeling Marilyn Monroe on the red carpet.
