“You’re a very beloved part of this community.” The fall festival season continues with the next big festival kicking off soon – the 61st New York Film Festival begins in New York City on September 29th. If you’re in the NYC area, this is THE best festival the year, the one not to miss. Get your tickets before they’re all gone! Their line-up for 2023 is phenomenal! Always bringing in the best films from all the other great fests to showcase in the Big Apple, along with a few world premieres (like Garth Davis’ Foe). It’s still one one of the best US fests. “An annual bellwether of the state of cinema that has shaped film culture since 1963, the festival continues a long-standing tradition of introducing audiences to bold and remarkable works from celebrated filmmakers as well as fresh new talent.” Here’s the official trailer + poster for the 2023 edition of NYFF. Tons of my favorites will be screening at the Lincoln Center this fall: La Chimera, Priscilla, About Dry Grasses, Fallen Leaves, Perfect Days, Poor Things, Hit Man, The Taste of Things, & many other gems.
Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for the 61st New York Film Festival, direct from their YouTube:

[And] as seasoned festivalgoers know, with each new NYFF trailer comes the annual NYFF Trailer Contest!
