Sometimes all we have to hold onto is a memory. Their melodies are absorbed through our veins and their beat pierces the soul. “We’ve Got to Start It All Again” the band’s latest release reminds us that the past is never lost to us.
The song is a love story gone wrong. It’s nostalgic as most of this faction’s songs are. Sometimes they were moments where the world seems to pause in its perpetual spinning, when minutes and seconds are suspended. When you feel like you’ve lost something, most especially love.
Leader and founder of the band John Gitano is the main songwriter, vocalist and guitarist. He is joined by Nelson Montana on the bass, Patti Jarman on vocals and guitar, Adrienne Dugger on vocals, Josh Salant on the drums and Neal Lazar on the guitar. Together they have a common love for music from the past, but also have the ability to perform their music as relevant for today. Their stories and their music of present seem most perfect when its seeds are in the past.
