‘I Sway’ will mark (G)I-DLE’s second music release of 2024, following their second full-length album ‘[2]’ in January. That record featured the singles ‘Wife’ and ‘Super Lady’. The group also released a music video for album cut ‘Revenge’, while another album cut ‘Fate’ emerged as a sleeper hit in South Korea.
In April, (G)I-DLE singer Yuqi released her new solo mini-album ‘YUQ1’. The record notably features several collaborations, including rapper pH-1 on ‘Drink It Up’, (G)I-DLE bandmate Minnie on ‘Everytime’ and Chinese musician Lexie Liu on ‘On Clap’.
In other K-pop news, girl group Red Velvet have announced a new mini-album titled ‘Cosmic’ to be released later this month. It comes shortly after member Joy voiced her unhappiness over the lack of updates from their label SM Entertainment over new music from the group.
