Liam Gallagher has confirmed that he reserves a seat at every one of his solo shows for his brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel.
Last week, X user Simon Love shared a post saying he had attended a Liam Gallagher show, where he noticed that a seat had been reserved for Noel. He wrote in the post: “I’m in a hospitality box at Liam Gallagher and I’ve just seen this on a seat in front of mine.”

Unfortunately, Love later revealed that the photo was snapped during a Jesus And Mary Chain show in 2014, and that he was just having a laugh with the post.
Or, this photo was taken at JAMC in 2014 and I love to laugh.

A couple of days later, however – as Stereogum points out – Liam confirmed that he does in fact reserve a seat for his older brother at all of his shows. When a now-private account asked Liam if he saves a seat for Noel, he replied with a short and direct: “Yes you never know.” It is currently unknown if Noel has ever attended one of Liam’s solo gigs, or if he’s even aware of the spots saved for him.

Liam’s confirmation of reserving seats comes after he dedicated the Noel-sung ‘Half The World Away’ and Noel‘s Oasis-era ‘Lock All The Doors’ demo to his brother during his current ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary tour.
Elsewhere during the tour, Liam has dedicated ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ to Dave Grohl. Footage has also emerged of the Foo Fighters frontman dancing to the track at The O2 in London.
