“These are hard men, they will kill us! Dead in the dirt.” “Then we better kill them first” The Avenue has revealed the trailer for Place of Bones, an indie western horror film made by Canadian filmmaker Audrey Cummings. This already premiered last year at the 2023 Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, and it also played at the 2024 Kingston Canadian Film Festival. Set in 1876 – a mother & daughter, alone on a remote ranch, fight for survival against a gang of ruthless outlaws. Heather Graham and her daughter fight for survival when a wounded outlaw seeking refuge brings a notorious bank robber and his vicious gang, all desperate to reclaim a stolen fortune, right to their doorstep in this action-packed horror western. The cast also includes Tom Hopper, Corin Nemec, Brielle Robillard, Gattlin Griffith, & Cowboy Cerrone. This looks brutal! So many shots remind me of Ti West’s Pearl, even though it is an entirely different story.
Here’s the official red band trailer (+ poster) for Audrey Cummings’ film Place of Bones, from YouTube:
