An Inside Look Trailer for Apple TV+’s ‘WondLa’ Animated Adventure

“It is unparalleled immersion.” Now streaming if you want to give it a look. Apple TV has revealed a final “Inside Look” promo trailer for the WondLa animated series, an adaptation of a trilogy of books originally titled “The Search for WondLa“. It’s available this weekend on Apple TV+. “No amount of training could prepare Eva for what she’d find beyond her bunker walls.” Eva is a typical teen: curious, enthusiastic, and spirited. However, she’s being raised alone by a robot caretaker, Muthr, in a state-of-the-art underground bunker. An attack on her sanctuary forces her onto the surface, and it’s not what she expected. The planet is now inhabited by aliens, covered with otherworldly fauna, and there are no other humans to be found. Otto, a lovable giant waterbear with whom Eva shares telepathic powers, Rovender, a cantankerous alien with a troubled past, and Muthr join Eva as she embarks on a quest to find any other humans and learn her true destiny. With the voices of Jeanine Mason, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Gary Anthony Williams, Alan Tudyk, D.C. Douglas, Chiké Okonkwo. This is sort of a behind-the-scenes featurette, but it’s also a trailer with more stunning footage. This series looks really good, I just hope the rest is interesting enough.

WondLa centers around Eva, voiced by Jeanine Mason, a curious, enthusiastic, & spirited teenager being raised in a state-of-the-art underground bunker by Muthr, a robot caretaker, voiced by Teri Hatcher. On her 16th birthday, an attack on Eva’s bunker forces her onto the Earth’s surface which is now inhabited by aliens, covered with other-worldly fauna, and no other humans. In fact, it’s no longer called Earth – but Orbona. Otto, a loveable giant water bear with whom Eva shares telepathic powers (Brad Garrett), and Rovender, a cantankerous alien with a troubled past (Gary Anthony Williams) join Eva as she leads the team on a dangerous quest to find humans, her home, and her true destiny. WondLa is a series showrun by Bobs Gannaway for Apple TV and Skydance. With writing by Mario Carvalhal, Bobs Gannaway, Bob Snow, Christian Magalhaes, Grace Davis, Adam Galen.
