The sixth and final season of What We Do in the Shadows has received a premiere date at FX.
Season 6 of the fan favorite vampire comedy series will debut on October 21st with the first three of its 11 new episodes. It will then follow a weekly release schedule, with next-day streaming on Hulu.
In the final installment of the show, Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Colin (Mark Proksch), and Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) will embark on a series of adventures “to find their place and their purpose in this crazy, mixed-up world.” This will include entering the workforce, visiting New Hampshire, going to a human dinner party, fêting The Baron, and conjuring a demon.
“After a very brief stint as a full-blown vampire, Guillermo is re-evaluating his life,” reads the official description. “Who is he if not a familiar who will do anything to please his Master in hopes of one day being turned into a vampire? Meanwhile, the vampires are reevaluating, too. When their former roommate reappears after a 50-year nap, they realize how little they’ve done in half a century — not one goal accomplished, not one dream pursued, not one part of the New World conquered (except for their street and part of Ashley Street).”
Last week, What We Do in the Shadows was nominated for eight Emmy Awards, including Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Berry.
