“It’s time to move on to the next phase of your life… like I did.” Brainstorm Media has revealed the official trailer for I’ll Be Right There, a light-hearted indie dramedy made by filmmaker Brendan Walsh. The film initially premiered at the 2023 Hamptons Film Festival last year, and it will open in select theaters starting in September this year. Actress Edie Falco stars as Wanda – a wife, girlfriend, mother, daughter. Wanda wants to take care of everyone in her life, and she loves her family. But she barely has time for herself, not that she would know what to do with it anyway. I’ll Be Right There is a heartwarming yet hilarious film that features an ensemble of award winning cast, including Emmy winner Edie Falco, Oscar nominee Jeannie Berlin, Charlie Tahan, Kayli Carter, Michael Rapaport, Michael Beach, Sepideh Moafi, Jack Mulhern, Paul Schulze, and Emmy winner Bradley Whitford. The film marks a reunion for Edie Falco and director Brendan Walsh, known for their collaboration on “Nurse Jackie”. Meet the whole family below.

Wanda (starring Edie Falco) has her hands full: her 8-month pregnant daughter wants a wedding which her ex-husband is flaking on paying for, her mother thinks she’s dying, her wayward son is either going into rehab or the army, her long-time boyfriend doesn’t excite her, but her new girlfriend doesn’t either. She barely has any time for herself, not that she would know what to do with it anyway… I’ll Be Right There is directed by American indie filmmaker Brendan Walsh, director of the films Brilliant Idiot and Centigrade previously, plus a few short films and episodes of the “Nurse Jackie” and “Power Book II: Ghost” series. The screenplay is written by Jim Beggarly. Produced by Peter Block, Cory Neal, Bradley Ross, Ross Meyerson, Julie Tucker, Brendan Walsh. This initially premiered at the 2023 Hamptons Film Festivals last year, and it also played at Santa Barbara.
