“You want us to be men, then let us be men! We don’t need you. We’re going to the top.” Blue Fox Ent. has revealed an official trailer for an indie film titled Lost on a Mountain in Maine, a survival adventure thriller from filmmaker Andrew Boodhoo Kightlinger. This one recently premiered at the 2024 Maine Film Festival (never even knew this festival existed?) and will open in theaters nationwide in November this fall. Based on the best-selling book of the same name, Lost on a Mountain in Maine tells the amazing true story of a 12 year old boy that gets separated from his family during a fast moving storm while on a treacherous hike on Maine’s largest mountain peak. He will fight to stay alive during his nine-day adventure lost in the backwoods of Maine. From producer Sylvester Stallone, the film stars Luke David Blumm, Paul Sparks, Caitlin FitzGerald, Ethan Slater, and Griffin Wallace Henkel. This film has such a blatantly literal title – just hope the rest is any good. Intriguing to see that it’s a film critiquing the “be tough” notion of men.
