The insider said Ben “still has love for her,” too. He just “couldn’t handle everything that came with being married to her.”
The differences in their approaches to fame were exposed in J.Lo’s documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, released in February 2024.
In the film, Ben talked about wanting to keep their relationship more private after things “crumbled” under the weight of media pressure the first time around.
“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media,'” Ben recalled. But he also said he was trying to learn how to compromise. “I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re gonna marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’ We’re just two people with kind of different approaches trying to learn to compromise.”
