Kim Kardashian Shares Heartfelt Message To Moms
On Friday, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to reshare a video of Lauren Sánchez on The View. Lauren and Kim have been close friends for years, and Lauren used to be an entertainment reporter.
During her interview, Lauren talked about her own personal journey with dyslexia. Jeff Bezos’s fiance also spoke about her new children’s book, The Fly Who Flew To Space.
When speaking with the ladies on The View, Lauren opened up about how she struggled to write before she became a journalist. Over time, she was able to overcome her problems and create a successful career for herself.
Doting on her friend, Kim Kardashian shared the clip to her Instagram Story. The Kardashians star wrote, “I’m reposting this not bc she’s my friend and I love her but because every mom who has struggled with their kids with dyslexia or any learning difference needs to hear that it will be okay.”
North West Reveals Her Dyslexia Diagnosis
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that can often make it difficult to read. This is because the disorder makes it hard to identify speech sounds, according to The Mayo Clinic.
Last year, Kim’s daughter North West revealed that she was diagnosed with dyslexia. She was struggling to spell something on her phone while filming a video. In the clip, North said, “Guys, I have dyslexia. Do you even know what that is?”
Kim chimed in, telling North, “You are sure spilling the tea on here.” She went on to say that she “purposely” does not share details about North’s life on social media.
As fans know, Kim Kardashian has four children. She shared North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with her ex-husband Kanye West. Their oldest often spends time with Kim as well as her famous rapper dad and his wife, Bianca Censori.
Earlier this year, she was featured in Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign’s music video “Talking/Once Again.” She showed off some of her rapping and singing skills in her video debut.
Then, in May, North West made headlines again starring as Young Simba in The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl. She sand a rendition of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.”
It doesn’t seem like Kim Kardashian’s daughter is letting her “learning differences” stop her from chasing her dreams. And it looks like Kim is happy to support her every step of the way.
