“It’s not about the money, it’s about the challenge.” Lionsgate has revealed a gnarly official trailer for Den of Thieves: Pantera, also known as Den of Thieves 2 – the sequel to the surprising hit Den of Thieves from 2018. Six years later, has anyone been waiting for this to arrive? “The score isn’t settled…” Cop turns gangster? Yep let’s roll… Immediately following the events of the first movie, sheriff “Big Nick” O’Brien is tracking down Donnie Wilson, who escaped to Europe and is planning another heist. They get involved the dangerous world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, plotting a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange. Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. return to star with an international cast including Michael Bisping, Salvatore Esposito, Orli Shuka, Evin Ahmad, Cristian Solimeno, and Nazmiye Oral. Well I’ll be damned, we actually have a sequel that looks properly lit and exciting and thrilling. This is what I’m talking about! If you’re going to make another, make it bigger and better like this.

Actors Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. return in the sequel to 2018’s action-heist hit Den of Thieves. In Den of Thieves: Pantera, sheriff “Big Nick” O’Brien (Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (Jackson), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera is entirely written and directed by American producer / writer / filmmaker Christian Gudegast, directing his second feature after Den of Thieves previously, and writing the scripts for A Man Apart and London Has Fallen.
