American Pickers Fans PISSED After Season Premiere ‘Disrespected’ Late Frank Fritz!

American Pickers fans are not pleased with the show’s “disrespect” towards the late Frank Fritz.

The star sadly passed away at just 60 years old last week as the result of complications from a stroke he suffered in 2022. On Wednesday, his friend Jerry Gendreau told The US Sun he lost “the will to live” after his debilitating stroke, which left the right side of his body paralyzed.

Frank’s longtime co-star and friend Mike Wolfe announced the news in a heartbreaking Instagram post, which you can see (below):

It was a no-brainer to assume that when Season 26 kicked off, it’d be dedicated to Frank. After all, it premiered just a little over a week after his death. It might take some quick editing, but everyone would be expecting it… right? Well, the premiere hit the History channel on Wednesday, and there was no special dedication at all… And fans aren’t happy!

One fan took to Reddit on Thursday to share their disapproval for the snub. They wrote:

“There was no dedication to Frank on the season premiere last night. I feel like they should have at least made a title card at the end or something to honor him?”

Dang, not even a title card? Nothing to just say the episode or the season was in memory of the fallen star? That seems so easy! And fellow Pickers fans could not agree more! In response, Redditors wrote things like:

“Total disrespect! This show was and is still dead to me.”

“A**holes”

“Honestly I think the show is dog shit without Frank. I don’t even bother watching episodes without him anymore.”

Yikes!

History did air a tribute to Frank which included some of his AP highlights prior to the premiere, but the show itself didn’t have any sort of shoutout to the late star. One user suggested it was possible the premiere was “already sent to stations and couldn’t be re-edited.” Hmm. These days? With everything being done digitally these days? If they could cut together a whole tribute, they could easily throw a title card into an episode, right? Maybe a brief farewell tribute supercut of his best moments? At the very least a tribute title card…
