He stated, ”Let’s start with the obvious: you beat me—a lot. More than I managed to beat you. You challenged me in ways no one else could.”
Federer was grateful to Nadal for playing a crucial role in the former’s successful career in tennis. He expressed how Nadal made him reimagine the game and made him work harder than he ever thought. The 43-year-old also made an exciting revelation of how the duo engaged in fun and unique rituals during the game.
