Model Kate Bock married NBA basketball player Kevin Love on Sunday, June 25, at the New York Public Library. All eyes were on Bock, who stunned in a lacy white wedding gown custom made by Ralph Lauren. The bridal design is embroidered with beads fashioned as flowers throughout the bodice and features a high neck, long sleeves, and a prominent back cutout trimmed with lace. It flows into a floor-sweeping skirt with a long, glimmering train for maximum visual impact. “I was so lucky to work with the Ralph Lauren team on designing my dream dress,” she tells Vogue. “They are true experts, and I had so much fun working with them on creating something that was classic and fit in seamlessly with the theme of our wedding. I was inspired by Grace Kelly’s wedding dress, so we used that as a jumping off point for a modern-day, beaded lace gown that was totally my style.”
Bock styled her blond waves into a loose, low ponytail with a few curls pulled out and tied a long, sheer veil around it to enhance the drama of her ensemble. She kept her jewelry classic with a pair of pearl drop earrings and a diamond ring. Love matched his wife’s old-school classic elegance in an ivory lapel jacket, crisp white button-down shirt tucked into tailored black trousers, and a matching bow tie, also designed by Ralph Lauren. The couple looked stunning as they climbed the steps of the library, where they posed for photos before heading to Astor Hall for the ceremony.
Bock later changed into an equally stunning off-the-shoulder maxi gown in lustrous white silk by Danielle Frankel for the first dance and then into a draped white mini by the same designer for the afterparty. Documenting her big day on Instagram, Bock wrote, “It was everything. The ceremony was perfect, the venue glowed, the guests were endless smiling and we couldn’t have felt more loved. We only wish we could have lived through every moment for longer. 🤍🤍🤍”
