In a cross-generational collaboration set to electrify the global music scene, international pop sensation Ashley Paul and legendary vocalist Deniece Pearson of the iconic group Five Star have joined forces on their powerhouse new single “Finding Rhythm.”
Produced and co-written with Luv Foundation (UK) and Lucas Marx—the acclaimed producer, singer-songwriter, and son of Grammy-winning hitmaker Richard Marx—the track bursts with lush harmonies, infectious hooks, and a rhythm designed to ignite clubs, festivals, and radio worldwide.
THE CREATIVE POWERHOUSE BEHIND THE TRACK
Luv Foundation (UK), the British and Welsh duo of Julian Napolitano and Mark Schneider, have been shaping the dance landscape with a steady stream of anthems over the past two years. Known for infusing modern energy with nostalgic 90s flair, the duo takes a bold turn toward glossy pop with a disco twist on “Finding Rhythm.” Collectively, their projects have amassed more than 13 million Spotify streams.
Adding further star power, Lucas Marx—with over 9 million streams and credits writing for global icons including Katy Perry (“Electric”)—helped pen the track. Marx also co-wrote Paul’s Amazon Music #1 hit “Hearts Up,” proving his versatility as a rising force in pop songwriting.
A COLLABORATION ACROSS TIME ZONES
Written between Los Angeles and the UK, “Finding Rhythm” came to life through early-morning Zoom calls and late-night inspiration.
“Songwriting holds no boundaries or time zones—it’s a creative process that brings us together no matter the circumstances,” says Paul.
“Working with Deniece has been an absolute dream,” she adds. “She’s a legend, with a voice like an angel. Together, we wanted to create something fresh, powerful, and truly global.”
Pearson—whose recent summer single “Like a Child” drew strong acclaim—echoes the excitement: “Ashley’s talent is undeniable. This track has fire in its soul—and it’s just the beginning of what’s to come.”
MOMENTUM AND LEGACY
For Ashley Paul, the new release follows her sizzling summer single “Body Language,” cementing her growing reputation as one of 2025’s breakout pop stars. With over one million streams on her hit “Bingo Baby” and recognition from NY Weekly and LA Weekly as one of this year’s Top Artists to Watch, Paul continues to rise as a global force.
For Deniece Pearson, the track adds another milestone to her storied career. As lead vocalist of Five Star, she became a household name, a Grammy nominee, and a BRIT Award winner, leaving an enduring mark on 80s and 90s pop history.
A GENERATIONAL ANTHEM
Blending Paul’s sleek, modern pop energy with Pearson’s timeless vocal power, “Finding Rhythm” is already being hailed for its “insane” chemistry and undeniable catchiness. More than just a single, it’s a meeting of eras—a generational anthem destined to resonate across borders and audiences.
“Finding Rhythm” is available now worldwide on all streaming platforms.
