Nicolle Kate Briscoe, one of the contestants from Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor, says she’d love to take the lead in The Golden Bachelorette and is confident her season would pull in big numbers. Briscoe, described by some outlets as a “villain” this season, has been open about wanting to keep her reality TV journey going and hasn’t shied away from talking about how people have reacted to her bold personality on the show.

During a recent conversation, the 64-year-old yoga instructor shared that she believes putting her in the spotlight in the sophomore season of The Golden Bachelorette would definitely boost ratings.
Nicole Briscoe told Parade, “I think viewership could be high because I’m unexpected.” She also admitted that joining The Golden Bachelor wasn’t just about finding love, but was partly about getting her name out there.
Briscoe shared, “I would do it again in a heartbeat, over and over and over. I would love the opportunity to be The Golden Bachelorette. I would probably be more like a Mel sort of Golden Bachelor, maybe slightly less traditional maybe, but I would definitely love the opportunity to have 23 interesting men to get to know and I think I would bring a lot of heart and a lot of fun to the show,” Briscoe shared.
“Mel didn’t choose me, but maybe you’ll choose me for The Golden Bachelorette,” Nicolle Briscoe added. In fact, she had even joked on The Golden Bachelor that she wasn’t dating just one man on the show, she was “dating America.”
When asked why she wanted to lead The Golden Bachelorette, Briscoe said, “I just think being the Golden [lead] would be such an intense experience. I think I’d make an interesting candidate for that. Why would I want to do it? I don’t know. I would love to have that experience.”
Nicolle Briscoe eventually became the “villain” of The Golden Bachelor Season 2. This was after she threw shade at women from the first Golden Bachelor, saying they “weren’t so great looking.”
Addressing the same, Briscoe stated, “I said the things that I said, and I gave them a lot of material to go with, and I don’t regret any of it. I think that maybe I could have been smarter about it, but I know that everybody was talking about those things. I was the one kind of highlighted.”
