Godzilla Claims #1 Series On Apple TV+: “A roaring success”

The #1 show on Apple TV+ has some pretty big shoes to fill. It’s part of a historic world that has earned a dedicated fan base. This is why it’s a good thing fans are loving Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters because the internet could’ve gotten so ugly if they hadn’t. If you’re not sure where this kaiju-filled title falls in the world of Godzilla then get behind me. I’ve got notes and I’m not afraid to use them. 

The Official Apple TV+ Synopsis

“Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga — spanning three generations — reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.”

Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters was developed by Chris Black and Matt Fraction. The series is based on Godzilla by Toho Co., Ltd. The show stars Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, Elisa Lasowski, Wyatt Russell, and Kurt Russell.

The series made its presence known by dropping two episodes on November 17th. Viewers can catch new episodes on Fridays on Apple TV+.
