Maybe we have seen this before, but it is always nice to experience someone else’s vision. Read the synopsis and see if it reminds you of anything:
“Recovering drug addict Kait flees to a house in the woods to self-rehabilitate. Joined by her sister Olivia, who documents the process, strange things begin to happen as the house’s layout begins to change, and the two find themselves trapped inside an inescapable, nightmarish puzzle box.”
For us, it has elements of Fede Álvarez’s Evil Dead remake mixed with a little You Should Have Left and a pinch of Paranormal Activity.
Australian director Jack Dignan has been described on IMDb as “The new James Wan.” This is his third full-length feature; he has done many shorts in the past.
Puzzle Box will be released on digital platforms on October 11.
