The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game is coming to scare all hell out of us pretty soon. Gun Interactive is taking sound effects very seriously especially when it comes to the new game’s immersive atmosphere. In the latest video, the guys at Gun Interactive take some real chainsaws out in the field so that they can properly record the revs and crunches.

The synopsis for Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre film went like this:
When Sally (Marilyn Burns) hears that her grandfather’s grave may have been vandalized, she and her paraplegic brother, Franklin (Paul A. Partain), set out with their friends to investigate. After a detour to their family’s old farmhouse, they discover a group of crazed, murderous outcasts living next door. As the group is attacked one by one by the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface (Gunnar Hansen), who wears a mask of human skin, the survivors must do everything they can to escape.
We are really excited about the care that has gone into making this game. From the awesome chainsaw recording to the texture building, this game looks like it is going to be fantastic.
