Everything Announced at the THQ Nordic Showcase 2022

The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2022 had a handful of game announcements, reveals, updates, and trailers. Here’s all of them in one convenient place.

Alone in the Dark Remake

While it did leak earlier in the day, Pieces Interactive is developing a remake of Alone in the Dark. Mikael Hedberg, the acclaimed writer behind Soma and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, is writing the game. This remake will be a new story, but will have “characters, places, and themes” from the original trilogy that came out in the ’90s. It will have classic survival horror gameplay and is being developed by a mix of new and veteran developers. The remake is coming out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed

This remake for the second Destroy All Humans game is still coming on August 30, and this is just a new trailer for it.

Space for Sale

This buildup simulation game lets players explore space, build new houses for alien clients, and study the local wildlife. It’s coming to PC.

Gothic 1 Remake

The previously announced remake of Gothic got another trailer. It is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Jagged Alliance 3

This tactical PC game got another trailer.

The Valiant

This recently announced PC real-time strategy game also got another trailer.

Tempest Rising

This base-building RTS was announced at the show and will come to PC in 2023.

Knights of Honor II: Sovereign

This strategy game has been in development for some time that is coming to PC got another trailer.

Outcast 2 – A New Beginning | Legend of the Ulukaï (Part 1)

This open-world exploration shooter was already revealed, but got another trailer. This sequel to the 1999 game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Wreckreation

This new open-world arcade racing game boasts big stats (280,000 miles of track to race and 150,000 square miles of world) and is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Way of the Hunter

This hunting game was announced earlier in the year, but its new trailer shows off more of what players can expect. It is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 16.

AEW Wrestling: Fight Forever

This extended gameplay trailer leaked beforehand, but this official reveal gives players a look at THQ Nordic’s upcoming wrestling game. It is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Stuntfest: World Tour

This already announced game that’s reminiscent of Ubisoft’s Riders Republic is focused on stunts and quickly swapping to different vehicles or ejecting right out of them. This new trailer showed off more footage. The title is coming to PC soon.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

THQ Nordic released a lengthy trailer for the new SpongeBob game it revealed in 2021.

South Park

While no footage was shown, THQ Nordic announced that it was publishing a South Park game.
