ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive look at the Boy Kills World vinyl records, one of which is an LP with songs by the El Michels Affair, and a separate LP of the film’s score by Ludvig Forssell.
The Boy Kills World vinyls will be released via Lakeshore Records on December 6, 2024, with two different options available to fans. One LP will feature songs from the band the El Michels Affair and come pressed on translucent red vinyl. The other LP will feature the original score of the action movie, performed by Ludvig Forrsell and pressed on translucent blue vinyl.

Both vinyls will feature full-color inserts as well as unique cover art. The El Michels Affair is a cinematic soul group led by renowned musician and producer Leon Michels. Outside of Boy Kills World, the group most recently worked on 2023’s Glorious Game, a collaborative album between the group and The Roots lead MC Black Thought.
Ludvig Forrsell is a BAFTA-nominated composer who has mainly worked in the world of video games, notably as a frequent collaborator to Hideo Kojima. Forrsell worked as the composer on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Death Stranding, as well as the 2021 animated film Belle.
What is Boy Kills World about?
Boy Kills World is directed by Moritz Mohr, and alongside Skarsgård, the film also features Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Famke Janssen, Sharlto Copley, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andrew Koji.
“In the film, Skarsgård stars as Boy, a deaf-mute with a vivid imagination, driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, avows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy, the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deafened, and voiceless,” reads the synopsis.
Boy Kills World is directed and executive produced by Moritz Mohr from a screenplay written by Arend Remmers and Tyler Burton Smith, based on a story by Mohr and Remmers. The film also stars Jessica Rothe, Andrew Koji, Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, martial arts master Yayan Ruhian, Nicholas and Cameron Crovetti, Quinn Copeland, Sharlto Copley and Famke Janssen.
