Netflix has officially added another popular show to its TV collection in the form of The WB’s Amanda Bynes-led comedy series. This comes nearly two decades after the hit coming-of-age sitcom concluded its four-season run.
As of today, all four seasons of Bynes’ What I Like About You series are now available to stream on Netflix. This served as Bynes’ first lead TV project outside of Nickelodeon. The former teen star was joined by Jennie Garth (90210), Simon Rex (Scary Movie), Wesley Jonathan (City Guys), Leslie Grossman (American Horror Story), Michael McMillian (True Blood), Nick Zano (2 Broke Girls), Allison Munn (That ’70s Show), and Stephen Dunham (The Mummy).
“The sitcom follows two young women who push their sisterly relationship to the limit. When their dad took a job in Japan, livewire Holly Tyler (Bynes) and her straight-laced sister, Valerie (Garth), moved in together in New York City–and Holly managed to unravel Val’s well-ordered life in no time at all. Their new life has taken a lot of getting used to, but Val and Holly’s relationship is stronger than ever,” reads the show’s official synopsis.
What I Like About You originally aired on The WB network from September 20, 2002, to March 24, 2006. The series was co-created by Wil Calhoun and Dan Schneider. It also featured many guest stars, including Fran Drescher, Jesse McCartney, Luke Perry, JC Chasez, Jenny McCarthy, Jason Priestley, Penn Badgley, Abigail Breslin, and more.
