Based on the namesake light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is an isekai fantasy series. The plot revolves around Rudeus Greyrat, a talented magic user. In his previous life, Rudeus was a NEET who died at age 34 while saving the lives of some teenagers. After his reincarnation, he decides to make the best use of his new magical abilities and the maturity he accumulated in the old world.
The project began as a web novel series, and both are completed works. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation premiered on January 11, 2021. Season 2, just like Season 1, was split into two parts. Part 1 aired between July 3, 2023, and September 25, 2023. Season 2 Part 2 will debut on April 8, 2024. Wondering whether there will be a third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation? This is everything we have learned on the subject.
Here’s all the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 release date?
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
As of late March 2024, Studio Bind hasn’t renewed Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation for the third season. This is not unusual as Season 2 Part 2 will come out in April 2024. The animation studio and its partners will likely observe its performance before deciding on the future of the series.
Rifujin na Magonote’s original web novel series has 25 volumes, while the light novel adaptation has 26 volumes. At the end of Season 2 Part 1, the anime has reportedly covered till the beginning of volume 10 (University Arc). We can safely assume that part 2 of the second season will not cover the rest of the source material. So, unless something drastic happens, fans can expect Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 in the future.
The voice cast for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation includes Tomokazu Sugita as Rudeus Greyrat’s former self, Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus Greyrat, Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Ai Kayano as Sylphiette, and Konomi Kohara as Roxy Migurdia.
The official synopsis for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation reads:
