Vended, the band featuring the sons of some Slipknot members, have today (August 1) unveiled details of their debut album.
Featuring the sons of Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan, the band’s self titled debut arrives on September 20 and includes 13 tracks including the previously released singles ‘Am I The Only One’, ‘The Far Side’ and ‘Nihilism’. The album is produced by Chris Collier (Korn) and you can pre-order it here.
Speaking about the new album, frontman Griffin Taylor said: “There’s a level of aggression and emotion that’s missing from music right now, and we aim to fill that void on this album.
“It represents everything that Vended are about. ‘Fuck your ignorance, just grab ahold of it.’ You’re either with us or against us…welcome to Vended.”
The album’s cover artwork, which you can see below, is similar to Slipknot’s own self-titled debut.
In addition to Taylor on vocals and Simon Crahan on drums, the band’s lineup features Cole Espeland on lead guitar, Jeremiah Pugh on bass, and Connor Grodzicki on rhythm guitar.

Although the group includes the sons of two members from Slipknot, Vended spoke last year about how they carved their own path in the music industry despite people’s assumptions of nepotism.
“Yeah, we got more help than other bands do and I’m honest about that,” Simon said in an interview with Kerrang!. “I’m not going to say we didn’t because that’s not fair to who our fathers are.
“They’ve helped us, but they have never, ever, ever, written our music, never showed us how to play, never showed us how to perform onstage, they’ve never done any of that. When people say, ‘Oh, Griffin’s dad’s probably showing him how to scream how he does’, Griff is learning on his fucking own.”
Vended’s debut EP ‘What Is It/Kill It’ was released in 2021.
