Bethenny Frankel was so uncomfortable at the It Ends With Us premiere last year that she had to leave the place early!
The vibes were apparently OFF on the red carpet of the now-infamous Colleen Hoover adaptation. And even though it’s been a while since that NYC premiere went down, Bethenny popped up on her TikTok account on Wednesday with a sudden recollection of the incident! Which, BTW, it all might make sense hearing this from Frankel considering the latest lawsuit claims about Blake Lively‘s supposed attempt to BAN director and costar Justin Baldoni from the red carpet event!

Recalling how the premiere was “off-putting,” the Bravo alum explained:
“I have the craziest It Ends With Us premiere story that I totally forgot about and I’m putting the pieces together now.”
She didn’t share the story after the premiere because she was worried she’d be “canceled” for it. But now that it’s all coming out, she’s dishing! The BStrong founder recalled how she and a pal named Danielle went to the premiere and its red carpet together, but almost immediately she realized the vibes were off. Bethenny explained:
“Something that I’ve never seen in over 20 years of going to movie premieres happens and they say there’s an hour between the carpet and the premiere. Now maybe that happens. I’ve never seen that happen.”
Considering that hour-long wait was “too short to go to dinner [but] too long to stand there in stilettos,” she and Danielle opted to go get margaritas before the movie started. En route to grab their cocktails, tho, they apparently ran into one of Lively’s team members. The 54-year-old reality TV star recalled:
“They’re a little distant and a little icy to me. Just, there’s something that I’m like, ‘Wow, OK,’ and in other circumstances, this person is not this way and it just, it was slightly off-putting to Danielle and I. We both noted it.”

Then, after grabbing their margs and returning to the theater, Bethenny and her pal walked upstairs to catch the flick. On the way, they saw Anna Wintour — not important to the story, but hey, it’s Anna Wintour! Then they saw Justin Baldoni:
“So, we walk upstairs and we see Anna Wintour. She passes us, I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ So then we keep walking and this guy says to me, ‘Oh Bethenny, you know Justin, he was on your podcast.’ And he’s in this one line and we say hello to each other.”
Frankel called Baldoni “very nice” — and then things got weird! Instead of everyone going into the same theater together, she claimed the groups got split up and things started to become unraveled! She recalled:
“Always, unless it’s a weird different screening, the premiere is in one giant theater. But here, he’s in one theater, something’s going on somewhere else. I saw Anna walk this way.”
A split showing?! Blake’s team in one and Justin’s camp in the other, perhaps?? Or were Justin and his people just being shoved into the basement??
The Real Housewives of New York City alum continued by saying that “something was definitely awry from the jump and it was palpable.” Yikes!! She explained:
“The vibe was off … I didn’t tell anybody because I thought I would be canceled if we left. Because the vibes were not vibing. Like, wasted hair, makeup, outfit, to go to the city, drink a margarita in a mason jar, take a bucket of popcorn, take two bites, see Anna Wintour, see Justin Baldoni and left to go back to Connecticut. Like, talk about blue balls.”
In the end, she and Danielle bounced from the flick early — which is something Bethenny swears she NEVER does at premieres. Man, she’ll never know what happens to Lily Bloom’s flower shop! But the “vibes were not vibing” with this one, and so, she decided to ditch it:
“It felt like I was doing something wrong, but it felt like I was also doing something right. Something was f**ked.”
