Yikes. An attorney claims Diddy made a sex tape with someone “more high-profile” than him — and it’s supposedly now being shopped around Hollywood!!
On Friday’s episode of NewsNation‘s Banfield, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, a lawyer representing a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by Diddy in 2018, opened up about the alleged sex tape. Ariel claimed she was “contacted by someone who wanted [her] to essentially represent them” in the sale of a pornographic tape featuring the Last Night artist, which she “declined.”

She explained:
“There already have been tapes leaking around Hollywood, being shopped around to individuals in Hollywood, but one particular person contacted me to shop a particular video they were in possession of and to contact the person who was in the video to see if they were interested in purchasing the video before it became a public knowledge.”
Jeez. The attorney also agreed this was likely a “catch and kill” strategy — a technique used by media outlets to prevent revealing or damaging information from going public (such as by buying the exclusive rights to something and never publishing the content). While she couldn’t “explain” who was in the video, she described them as a “more high-profile” figure than Sean Combs, adding:
“I’ve seen stills of the video. [I can verify] that it exists, that it’s real, that the other person in the video is very visible. It’s no question if it’s that person in the video, and I can tell the video was pornographic in nature.”
Based on what she saw, she also does not believe the individual knew they were being recorded, either!! Whoa!! She shared:
“This was in his Atlanta home. […] It does seem that the person isn’t like looking into the video, so, to me, it doesn’t seem like that person knows they’re being videotaped. It doesn’t seem like they’re [an] active participant in the videotaping, like they’re being surreptitiously recorded.”
As part of his indictment, Diddy has been accused of hosting “Freak Offs” — AKA alcohol and drug-fueled sex parties that could last for days, in which he’d allegedly force people into nonconsensual sex acts. He would allegedly often record the hookups, as well. And supposedly sometimes without the knowledge of the victims. Truly so disturbing. And it’s horrific that someone is trying to make bank off a video like this now!
FWIW, this is also not the first time we’ve heard about these sex tapes being shopped. Last week, Diddy and Kim Porter’s children slammed the publication of a memoir the model allegedly wrote before her death, which they vehemently denied. The author of that book previously told DailyMail.com that his source was willing to hand over sex tapes if he wanted — which had allegedly already been shopped to Hollywood studios by other parties.
He didn’t provide details about what was on the tapes, but claimed Kim had made copies of some videos she had found to protect herself if she tried to leave the rapper. So far, it doesn’t seem like any of these videos have leaked. Regardless, you can see the lawyer open up about the tapes (below):
Per NewsNation, Ariel is representing a victim who alleged she was sexually assaulted by Puff with an inanimate object. He allegedly also directed another man to sexually assault her before she escaped. The lawsuit has not been filed yet, but is expected to be filed “within the week,” the lawyer noted. This is one of many new legal actions taken against the currently incarcerated celeb, who is awaiting a sex trafficking and racketeering trial following his arrest.
