Donald Trump Chickens Out Of 2nd Debate With Kamala Harris!

Ha! Someone once said, “if you refuse to debate, you’re a fraud.” His name is Catturd, and he’s a wise man. OK, not really, he’s a weirdly famous, terminally online Donald Trump supporter. But it’s still a fair point.

If you believe in your principles and understand the policies you think will solve problems, and if you have confidence in your ability to communicate them, why not debate?

Well, let’s ask Trump. Because after getting shellacked so bad on Tuesday that his supporters had to come up with nutty conspiracy theories to explain it, he’s refusing to do any more debates with Kamala Harris!

He explained on his Truth Social on Thursday afternoon:

“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH.’ Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate.”

OK, so she wanted to do a second debate because she lost and she wants a second chance at challenging the champ. Uh huh. So by that logic, someone who doesn’t want to debate is clearly the winner? And yet just a few lines later he contradicts that point by complaining:

“She was a no-show at the Fox Debate, and refused to do NBC & CBS.”

What “Fox debate”? For the record, Fox News did offer Trump a debate on their network with moderators Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. But that wasn’t enough of a safe space for Trump. In an interview on Fox & Friends he told them that wasn’t good enough — he’d only do one with Sean Hannity or Jesse Watters.

President Trump left Fox News in SHOCK after they asked about doing a second debate with Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier:

You know, sycophants who are literally incapable of acknowledging their idol has ever done anything wrong. By all accounts, Hannity was practically a cabinet member during Trump’s first term, and Watters has been pushing particularly sexist talking points about the VP. So yeah, if that’s the only way Trump will debate, with his literal allies, without even the appearance of legitimacy, come on. That’s like if the Kansas City Chiefs would only play a rematch with the Buffalo Bills if Taylor Swift was the ref!

So no, clearly there’s no reasonable offer that will satisfy Trump. He finished his diatribe:

“KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEAR PERIOD. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”

To keep to Trump’s analogy, you know who else chooses not to do rematches? Fighters who get hit so hard they retire from the sport. Just sayin’…
