The Nigerian chef and Guinness World Record holder posted a beautiful photo on Instagram with the caption ‘ASA BAMA’ styled by Emmanuel Goodnews and shot by Yomi Visuals. And I mean, the hey-ho, the world of the internet was just vocal about it.

Speaking of Hilda, consider her gorgeous at the very least! Everything: the attire, the pose, the vibe-energy, was just perfect. While some commenters were there to hype her up, others, however, took the comment section for… others could say rather unrelated weird demands.
@the_lilac_beauty_ put it well enough: ‘Omg you look so stunning 😍’—and honestly, we feel the same. However, immediately after, @olazeez_stiches popped in with, ‘God please I must not Fail. I just want God to bless me with a sewing machine to start working. I pray the grace of God locate me.’ When I say ma’am, ma’am, this is not a prayer meeting; this is a fashion post.
Then again, @atanda_fashion_designs went FULL in an impassioned plea for a sewing machine: ‘I humbly ask, someone should pls help me and buy a SEWING MACHINE for my work or dash me any used one….’ Listen, we get it; times are tough, but maybe slide into the DMs instead of turning Hilda’s comment section into a GoFundMe page?
Meanwhile, @itz_perryofficial was cracking everyone up with ‘I love how you cropped that man standing next to you out of the photo😂😂’—because honestly, we didn’t even notice until they pointed it out. Was there a whole other person in this shoot? The mystery remains unsolved.
In the same tone came @kabeersadeeq5 with ‘2by2 so make you give me that 😍’—which, if we’re being honest, sounds like a pickup line that needs some workshopping.

Some Igbo praises were scattered around Hilda’s post as well: @sommy_babyyyy_ writes ‘Ezibotè Asa Bama, Achalugo nwa’ (translation: ‘Beautiful Asa Bama, daughter of royalty’) and @spicyguineafowl chipped in with ‘Asa Asun Gino cubes ❤️’—because nothing quite says ‘you look good’ like a random food mention.
