Another Love Is Blind couple bites the dust.
Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis are divorcing after over a year of marriage! She confirmed the sad news to People on Tuesday night, saying:
“After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage. While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”
It is “impossible” for her to continue the relationship! What happened? Ashley did not say, but it sounds like some major dishonesty on his part is at play here! Could it be about the sperm donor drama? Cheating? Again, we don’t know! No tea from her or Tyler, who has not addressed the breakup. All she pretty much emphasized from there was that it was a tough but necessary decision for the former couple to go their separate ways. She continued:
“This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace. While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
Fans know that Ashley and Tyler met in the pods and got engaged during Season 7 of Love Is Blind, which aired in October 2024. Despite forming a strong bond early on, they had a rocky road to the aisle! Tyler revealed a massive secret to Ashley following their engagement that he was a sperm donor and had three children with a friend – but insisted he had no relationship with them. In fact, he had no idea what they even looked like. However, it turned out all that was a lie! He had a bigger role in the kids’ lives than he first let on!
As the season aired, pictures of Tyler with the children appeared online. The mother of the kids Bri Thomas then claimed the reality star was a lot more than a sperm donor! He was the father! According to the momma, Tyler was a sperm donor for her first child but asked to be a dad to them when she and her partner broke up. They then became romantically involved and had twins. From there, Bri and Tyler acted as co-parents and lived together. But the second he went on Love Is Blind? He ghosted Bri and the kids! She accused him of abandoning the family for the show and owing child support.
It is already an icky situation. But what makes it worse is that Ashley did not know all this before they got engaged! So naturally, she was upset! Yet she still moved forward with the relationship and married him in the finale. During the reunion, Ashley insisted she was not “blindsided” as he told her everything that happened with the baby momma off-camera but “there were things he was comfortable sharing and things he wasn’t” on camera.
She later explained on The Viall Files podcast that he only played an “uncle” role to the little ones and pulled away due to a lack of “connection.” Umm, that doesn’t match Bri’s story whatsoever! And given that Tyler lied on camera? Yeah, we have a hard time believing his side! Tyler had twins with Bri. He stepped up to raise all three of the children. So, we don’t buy that he was just an “uncle!” From what it sounds like, these are his kids! And there’s zero excuse to walk away from them like this.
For his part, Tyler claimed on the reunion that he helped “a friend and her wife start a family,” but he “voluntarily” assisted with the kids once his pal’s wife left. But on the Dear Future Wifey podcast in November, he downplayed the situation more, saying that he was a “glorified babysitter that [the mother of their children] need money from.” Ugh. What a horrible way to handle this whole situation…
Now we wonder if Ashley learned he lied about parts of the sperm donor drama. She was in contact with Bri at one point, so perhaps the mom revealed something about Tyler that the television personality couldn’t ignore this time. Or is it something else? Other family drama? Hmm.
