The actor said he would still like to play a superhero.
American actor Josh Brolin stated that he could have landed the role of Batman in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice instead of Ben Affleck. It is reported by Digital Spy.
According to him, there is no animosity between the actors, but playing Batman “would be a fun thing to do.” The role eventually went to Ben Affleck, who again played Batman in a number of Worlds of DC projects.
Brolin stated that he was still interested in the role because it “comes with a certain level of risk.”
Earlier it was reported that the new “Batman” by Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson in the title role bypassed the film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” by Zack Snyder at the American box office. In the United States, the film grossed about $332 million in three weeks of release, while its predecessor grossed $330 million.
At the global box office, “Batman v Superman” is still in the lead: it has $ 873 million compared to $ 670 million for “Batman”, which is explained by the disastrous box office of the latter in China.
