Post Malone just kind of made a product launch turn into a cultural moment, with an absurdly charming school-bus-themed advertisement made for the internet crazy for their upcoming collaboration. The Stanley 1913 x Post Malone collection lands on the brand website on June 16, but that very interesting odd commercial is the real stand.

Inside, Posty is a bus driver leaning out of the yellow school bus window, having his cowboy hat on slanted, almost idly sipping from the camo Stanley tumbler. The bus stop sign reads “POST,” and every detail just oozes effortless cool, to the unbearable degree of probably aggravation. Backed with Malone yelling, “Hey, what’s cooking, guys?,” the loose feel of the commercial makes it feel less of an advert and more a deleted scene from a movie, wherein Post Malone drives a bus.
The comments are hilarious! One user said: “He is the cutest thing ever,” while another one jokingly said, “Not him running after the bus with the lunchbox.” The ad’s weirdness really hit home with someone who called it “the best commercial I have ever seen.” Even the camo got some ribbing: “I can’t see it?! … get it. Cause it’s camo…”
On second thought, that’s a really good hype. Everyone is seriously pondering how to get their hands upon the collab, with one stranger suggesting, “time to sell my last kidney.” Another said, “I have never wanted a cup more in my life,” which simply sums up Post Malone’s fame and Stanley’s cult status.
The collection consists of Stanley staples—tumblers, lunchboxes, etc.—all given a rugged Post Malone treatment. Judging by the comments, however, this drop is going to get messy. “Not me buying my reckless 4-year-old the lunchbox that will inevitably be destroyed in a week so he can be the coolest kindergartener,” one parent admitted.
Stanley marketing should get a raise. With this along with other viral moments, they’ve perfected a blend of nostalgia, humor, and celebrity appeal. One commenter put it like this: “Y’all must have hired a new creative director or something. The marketing lately has been LEGITTTT.”

This drop will surely be one of the most talked-about ones this summer if you are a staunch Post Malone addict or someone who values a good collab. And from here, it seems Post Malone would really excel as a bus driver.
