Late Gotti star Spencer Lofranco seemingly alluded to his plans to get sober in his last livestream one week before his death at age 33.
“Hey, guys, if you don’t hear from me, or if you can’t get a hold of me for the next little while, that’s why. I gotta get some rest and just do what I need to do and make sure exactly who I wanna be for 2026,” Lofranco said in a resurfaced clip of the stream shared via TikTok on Thursday, November 20. “So, look out.”
The fan who shared the footage captioned the video, “Seven days before his passing, he wanted to go ghost, to get sober. He wanted to better himself. He planned to start removing his face tattoos and make some necessary changes to be who he wanted to be. God had other plans 😭.”
Lofranco often discussed his hopes of getting sober in his livestreams, according to many fans who regularly tuned into the videos. The actor also hinted at life changes in his final Instagram post on November 11.
“I’m getting my face tattoo burned out so subscribe to my OnlyFans. Period the best is yet to come. The hair is on its way, it got held up customs,” he joked of adding hair to his bald head. “Crazy.”
Lofranco died on Tuesday, November 18, in British Columbia, Canada. His brother, Santino, confirmed his death via Instagram two days later.
“To the legend @roccowinning. My brother,” Santino wrote alongside photos of himself and Lofranco. “You lived a life only some could dream of. You changed people lives, and now you are with God. I will always love you and miss you Bear. RIP. October 18, 1992 – November 18, 2025.”
The British Columbia Coroners Service confirmed on Friday, November 21, that they are investigating Lofranco’s death, according to the Los Angeles Times. However, a cause of death has not yet been determined.
Lofranco made his acting debut as Conrad Hartman in the 2013 romantic comedy At Middleton. His breakout moment came one year later when he starred as former convict James Burn in the biopic Jamesy Boy.
“I decided I wanted to be an actor when I was 17,” Lofranco told Interview magazine in 2014. “I was always a funny guy, always trying to make people laugh and always the center of attention. I guess I was being an actor my whole life. I finally realized what I was doing and it was just getting me in trouble. I went to summer acting classes. Then I did a year [of] conservatory at New York Film Academy and then that’s when I got Jamesy Boy.”

After Jamesy Boy, Lofranco starred in Angelina Jolie’s war drama Unbroken and appeared in the 2015 short film Home. He also appeared in 2015’s Dixieland and 2016’s King Cobra.
Lofranco’s most recent project was Gotti in 2018, in which he played the son of John Gotti Sr. (John Travolta). Travolta’s late wife, Kelly Preston, also starred in the movie as Gotti’s wife, Victoria.
