Tommy Lee is fed up!
The musician and his wife Brittany Furlan, who live in the Calabasas area, were among the many in Los Angeles who had to evacuate their home amid ongoing wildfires that devastated the area beginning last week. Thousands of people have lost their homes and businesses amid this tragedy. It’s been so, so awful, and it’s not done yet as intense winds continue to make firefighter’s work challenging in the area.

But, as is unfortunately very common on social media, some folks are already starting to move on — and Tommy does NOT like it! Taking to Instagram on Monday, he called out celebs trying to promote their work amid this tough time, writing:
“Makes me f**king sick to see most people just [carrying] on a posting on lame ass social media! Guys right now nobody gives a flying f**k when your record drops or the next concert is when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time!”
While the Mötley Crüe member acknowledged that everyone needs relief from this heartbreaking situation, he didn’t think this was the way to do it, concluding:
“I get that some comic relief is always need but Jesus Christ leave it all alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can.”
It is unclear who he was slamming, but nevertheless, it’s a fair point. So many people are struggling, promotion can wait. There are many celebrities who have chosen to take a step back from their work as they help those in need, which he clearly appreciates. We’re sure he’s not alone in this frustration!
