Travis Kelce is looking out for Taylor Swift.
After nearly two years of touring on The Eras Tour, the football star is encouraging his “burnt out” girlfriend to take time off to rest up. Speaking to Page Six on Wednesday, a source said the pop star is “definitely looking forward to some downtime” and her beau “has encouraged her to do so.” The insider elaborated:
“Taylor was ready for this tour to wrap because she’s burnt out and is looking forward to some rest and relaxation.”
The confidant noted that Taylor “planned” to have her tour “wrap right before her birthday so she could have some time off to celebrate her 35th birthday and the holidays.” Her b-day is Friday, by the way. Perfect timing!

Just ’cause he wants the singer to take time off doesn’t mean he’s not totally supportive, though! The confidant clarified that the tight end is “so inspired by her and proud of all the hard work she’s done.” But they added:
“At the same time, Travis feels it’s important for Taylor to take some time out for herself.”
It’s really so vital! Especially after all she’s been up to for so long now! It’ll likely be a very special few weeks coming up for Taylor as she processes the entire tour, the insider continued:
“Taylor has so much to feel grateful for this birthday, not only for the incredible fans but for the entire crew who poured their hearts and souls into this tour. […] Taylor knows she couldn’t have done it without each and every one of them.”
She certainly made her gratitude known by giving her crew $197 MILLION in bonuses! Incredible!
As for Travis, he’s not quite ready to hit pause. Considering he has to play with the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day and has an away game on the performer’s birthday, he’s still in work mode but plans to do everything he can to make her b-day “extra special.”
The insider noted that he “has been shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now.” The New Heights podcaster is “not the type to leave these things to the last minute so he’s been picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance.” They furthered:
“Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like.”
Aw! Insisting his conflicting schedule won’t get in the way of celebrating, the insider concluded:
“Although he’ll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her.”
