Tammy Slaton is making many meaningful changes in her life beyond her physical appearance. As she shared with PEOPLE, she can do many things now that she never could before.
“Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don’t even sleep with it at night anymore,” the TLC star shared. “Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle, and not have to use an extender now. So I mean, just what seems minor to some people is giant for me.”
Now that she feels better and is living her best life, Tammy loves playing with her appearance, including rocking new hairstyles. Her latest look has fans raving.
“New hair cut,” Tammy captioned her TikTok. In the video, she poses for the camera as Tinashe’s “Nasty” plays. Tammy also turns her head to show off the back, revealing some cute curls.

Voting is open now through September 2, so there’s still some time for Tammy’s fans to vote for her. However, there will be some pretty stiff competition. Christine Brown of Sister Wives and Sutton Strack of RHOBH are also nominated for the same category. She will certainly need the support of 1000-Lb Sisters fans to bring home the award.
