Catfish co-host, Kamie Crawford is exiting the hit MTV series after six seasons. She was chosen to replace Max Joseph when he left the show in 2018. So, what did she have to say about her unexpected departure and did she say when she will officially leave? Keep reading for more details.
Kamie Crawford Exits Catfish After 6 Years
When Max Joseph announced he was leaving Catfish after seven seasons, fans were shocked. He and Nev Schulman made an amazing team as they cracked case after case of hidden identities. Fans would write in and share stories of how they met someone online, in chat rooms, or via Facebook. Yet, they had never met the person or even FaceTimed with them. Many times, money had been exchanged so that was where Nev and Max came in to save the day. They would dig deep until the catfish was unveiled and sometimes it was good while other times, it was a disaster.
When Max shared he was leaving, a bevy of guest co-hosts came in to see who fit with Nev the best, including his own wife. Then, Kamie Crawford tried out. The beauty queen was sweet, and compassionate, but did not let the catfishers get away with anything. She was the perfect foil for Nev and was soon hired on as his new co-host. Kamie did have to miss some recent episodes due to other hosting obligations for Are You The One? and Ex on the Beach. Now, she is saying goodbye to her beloved Catfish team via social media.

Who’s Next?
As of now, no one has been announced as Kamie Crawford’s replacement on Catfish. However, there were rumors she and Nev Schulman were not on the best terms. He was in a horrific bike accident in August and everyone seemed to reach out or express their sympathies. However, Kamie stayed silent from what fans could see. So, this decision may have had something to do with their strained relationship. As for when her last airdate will be, that is also unknown but hopefully, MTV will give viewers a heads-up.
Are you shocked that Kamie is leaving the show? More so, will you miss her as Nev’s co-host, and who would you like to see in her place? Let us know in the comments below.
