Jenna Johnson’s Problematic Celeb Partner MIA
A new season of DWTS is set to start on September 16, and fans are ready and raring to go. There are a handful of really fun celebrities joining the show, and pro Mark Ballas is returning. This has been a thrill for those who have watched since day one, and another favorite, Jenna Johnson, is back. She won the last season with Bachelor alum, Joey Graziadei, as well as Season 26 with Adam Rippon. Now, Jenna is back with problematic actor Corey Feldman, by her side, but things are dramatic before the show even starts.
The Dancing With the Stars pro shared that she has not seen Corey since the big announcement on September 3rd. On that day, all of the celebrities met up with their partners on GMA for the big new season reveal. Corey was a child star who took a bad turn, and now, he performs Michael Jackson-inspired songs and dance moves. To learn that he had joined DWTS was interesting and somewhat exciting, but now, he is MIA, per Jenna. She shared that fans are looking for videos of the two of them, yet that is not possible:
“So many people have been, like, ‘Where are your TikToks with Corey? What’s happening?’ To be completely honest, I actually haven’t seen him since Good Morning America.”
Corey is known for films such as The Goonies and License To Drive. He struggled for a very long time in the public eye, and this could have been his redemption tour. However, if he’s not around, how can Jenna Johnson teach him? Now, is Jenna nervous for the premiere, which is just a little over a week away? She maintains that she is not worried whatsoever.
Fans Are Ready
As ready as Jenna Johnson is for the new season of DWTS, so are fans and viewers. They were shocked by her being paired with Corey Feldman, yet were excited nonetheless. The show shared all of the pairing photos, and they received so many positive comments and reactions:
- I’m gonna be rooting for you! Corey is a childhood idol of mine! Let’s go!
- I think he’s going to be better than people probably think. He’s got the rhythm so if he can get a handle on the ballroom concepts in terms of frame and everything he could do really well.
- I haven’t watched the show in years!! I will most certainly be tuning in to see Corey & Jenna.
Hopefully, Corey shows up, or at least gives a reason for his absence. If not, Jenna may have a last-minute partner change, which could rock DWTS.
