Chock Chapple Hits It Off With Joan Vassos Immediately
A woman’s way to a man might be through his stomach, but it turns out the opposite works, too. Chock Chapple made his grand entrance on The Golden Bachelorette with a jar of his famous ‘Chock-O-Noodle’ soup. While he didn’t earn Joan Vassos first impression rose, he did get the first date.
He met up with Joan at the Disneyland theme park in California. The two had a wholesome day of fun that ended in dinner and fireworks. The couple shared their first kiss as the colors exploded above them. Chock is a clear frontrunner for Joan’s final three.
Chock Chapple is an insurance executive from Wichita, Kansas. Chapple, 60, can relate to Joan Vassos losing her husband to cancer because his fiance of nine years died from brain cancer in 2022. He has two children with from his former marriage. His daughter is actually the one who signed him up for Golden Bachelorette.
In addition to appearing on the reality TV show, Chock Chapple has been on a weight loss journey.
Golden Bachelorette Frontrunner Reveals 52-Lb Weight Loss
Chock Chapple took to social media this week to share an inspiring post about working out. She shared a photo of his trainer pushing down on Chock’s back as the Golden Bachelorette star did a push-up. He captioned the snapshot, “My good friend Pat, always pushing me. Great way to start my day. 52lbs down!”
While Chock’s face and waist wasn’t visible, his arm muscles were on full display. The post only got a few comments so far, but his followers were impressed by his dedication:

Is Chock Chapple’s time on the Golden Bachelorette coming to an end? The preview clip for this week’s episode shows some of the men on a group date involving male strippers. Chock also confesses to the men that he’s considering leaving. The preview cuts to a intense conversation between Joan and her suitor that makes it look like he’s self-eliminating.
