When most people sign up for Married at First Sight and actually get chosen for the show, they do so with the hope that the experts match them with their forever person. However, as viewers often see on the show, the experts have a track record of matching people together that should not have been put together.
It was evident early on in Lindy Elloway’s Married at First Sight season that her match, Miguel Santiago, was not a good one for her. These two got into it at almost every turn, and it was clear pretty early on that these two were not meant to last for the long haul.

Based on the latest updates from Married at First Sight celeb Lindy Elloway, she claims that going through the marriage experiment made her “fully suicidal.”
According to Lindy, she recently spoke with 90 Day Fiance alum Statler Riley and recounted her experience. According to her, the aftermath of filming was hard on both her and her ex, Miguel Santiago.
Lindy said: “We were vegetables and hermits for months. We didn’t do anything; we just hid– He [Miguel] went down a dark Reddit rabbit hole.” Lindy continued, adding: “I was suicidal, like fully suicidal. It was so scary. I was really unwell.”
Married At First Sight: Lindy Sunk Thousands Of Dollars Into Therapy?
Casual Married at First Sight viewers may scoff at the idea of someone like Lindy Elloway becoming traumatized and suicidal after filming the show, but, viewers will also never know what it’s like to be put under a microscope for so many people to judge.
According to Lindy Elloway, she went on to add that she needed therapy after her time filming Married at First Sight scenes. She went on to say that the show agreed to pay for four sessions, which she said was “generous.” However, according to her, this was not enough to sort through all of her issues. So, she paid out of her own pocket for the other sessions she needed, to the tune of “thousands of dollars.”
