Pregnant Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent revealed that she went completely numb in a horrifying situation. Yet, what exactly happened to cause this and is her unborn baby girl okay? Keep reading for all of the details on Lala and her second child.
Pregnant Lala Kent Completely Numb, Baby Okay?
Lala Kent is a little over a month away from meeting her second baby girl. This is a pregnancy that she worked very hard to plan out as she knew she would do it on her own. Despite being a single mother, she shares daughter, Ocean, 3 with ex, Randall Emmett, Lala knew she wanted more children. So, she decided to undergo IVI which is less invasive than IVF though she was open to that, as well. As seen in Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, she went to a sperm bank alongside co-star, Scheana Shay. She then gathered her female castmates and family members to help pick her donor.
Before Lala knew it, she was announcing her second pregnancy and then she did her gender reveal. She did an intimate one with her family plus Scheana, Stassi Schroeder, and Katie Maloney. Then, Lala went on Amazon Live to do another reveal for her followers and fans to show she was having a girl. She was thrilled and it has been a great experience. Recently, her mother, Lisa, and Stassi threw Lala a baby monsoon but the thirty-three-year-old is opening up about a scare she had. According to Us Weekly, her whole body just went numb.
She went into further detail about the ordeal on this week’s Give Them Lala podcast:
“My arms and legs went numb, and I could not breathe, and [it] took everything in me to not pass out and just make it to my bed. I was trying to yell for my mom, but again, I was really struggling, and I was very, very concerned.”
So, does Lala Kent know what caused this? Or, is it a mystery experience?
“I don’t know what happened. I’ve heard that she could be sitting weird, but I felt this overwhelming amount of guilt because I’ve been complaining a lot about my [body] aching and just wanting it to be done.”
Fortunately, Lala’s mother, Lisa was able to get her doctor on the phone while the episode was still occurring.
The Doctor Weighs In
Soon, the Vanderpump Rules star was able to speak to her doctor and explain exactly what was going on. Suddenly, things got better as Lala Kent moved herself differently:
“I positioned myself in a different way and all of a sudden I could breathe. [The baby] was definitely active. I said [to the doctor], ‘She hasn’t stopped moving. And he was like, ‘Oh, OK, I’m less concerned now.’”
The doctor has since suggested that Lala stay off of her feet and rest much more to keep herself out of harm’s way. She openly admitted that she’s been “acting like I’m not a pregnant person” since the first trimester ended. Fortunately, Lala is feeling better as long as she stays off of her feet until the baby is due on September 1st. Hopefully, she will stay in a good place until her new bundle of joy makes their appearance.
