Amid the turmoil surrounding RHONY and RHONJ, fans have a new season of RHOC to look forward to. The OG Real Housewives show returns with an action-packed season full of drama, unexpected twists, and more. Longtime cast member Emily Simpson struggles in her marriage amid her son’s shocking medical diagnosis.
RHOC Season 19 Cast & Premiere Date
During Season 18 of RHOC, viewers were caught up in the drama between Shannon Beador and former Housewives star Alexis Bellino, who was dating Shannon’s ex, John Janssen.
Shannon and John’s relationship played out on the show for several seasons. Despite dating for almost four years, they never got engaged. He proposed to Alexis after less than a year together. They plan to marry this summer, though they haven’t revealed a wedding date.
Alexis wasn’t asked to return for Season 19, but the rest of the cast from the previous season is back. In addition to Shannon, the new season includes Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, and Katie Ginella.
Shannon Beador had to face off with a former RHOC cast member last season. This season, it’s Tamra Judge’s turn. Her longtime nemesis Gretchen Rossi is back, along with her fiance Slade Smiley. Tamra reportedly quit filming in the middle of the season.
Bravo viewers won’t have to wait long for Season 19. It premieres on Bravo on Thursday, July 10, at 8 PM Eastern and streams on Peacock the next day.
Emily Simpson’s Marriage In Trouble Amid Son’s Diagnosis
Bravo fans are in for a lot of fun this season on RHOC. The trailer dropped earlier this month and it shows the ladies hooked up to lie detector tests. Shannon Beador admitted to multiple romances with men in the area. She recently appeared on Bravo’s Love Hotel dating show, but didn’t find a love connection.
On a more serious note, the trailer revealed relationship struggles between two couples. Gina Kirschenheiter and her boyfriend, Travis, continue to struggle after he moved out of her home.
Meanwhile, Emily Simpson worries she’s on the verge of divorce from her husband, Shane. They faced divorce rumors a few years ago when they argued on the show over him taking the bar exam multiple times. He eventually passed and their marriage seemed stronger than ever.
Emily revealed in the Season 19 trailer that her son, Luke, was struggling after being diagnosed with an unnamed “rare medical condition.” She said she was having a hard time seeing her son so upset. Emily and Shane share three children: twin sons, Luke and Keller, and a daughter, Annabelle.
“I have a son that’s in crisis, and I feel alone in that,” she says in the trailer. She later worries for her marriage. “We’re gonna end up divorced,” she said of her marriage to Shane.
