‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Struggles At Table During Hot Topic

Whoopi Goldberg has often made headlines over the years with her shares on The View. During one recent episode, however, she surprised fans, not just with what she had to say, but with her physical actions. This also came out during a recent discussion concerning the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Whoopi Goldberg Has Been Part Of The View Since 2007

Goldberg is known to many for her extensive career as a comedian and an actress. However, many also know her as a co-host on The View.

Since 2007, Goldberg has been part of the panel, as well as a moderator, on the New York-based show. Throughout the years, she has become famous for her own commentaries on various “hot topic” discussions.

However, a recent episode of The View saw Goldberg physically struggle to stay at the table during one such discussion during Thursday’s last episode. This was during a “hot topic” discussion about Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Lægreid admitting to an affair minutes after winning a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics.

During the talk, Goldberg shared, “Stay with me on this. I’m confused by all of this.” Throughout the conversation, she appeared to struggle with sitting upright and even staying at the table.

Joy Behar chimed in, trying to explain the story, noting, “The main thing, Whoopi, he’s with the girl six months and he’s cheating on her already.” This caused Goldberg to shake her head in disgust and place her forehead into her palm while the co-hosts continued the conversation.

Ana Navarro weighed in, “You guys, these men are not hot, they’re in Norway, not Cuba. They’re just cold.” She later turned her attention towards Goldberg. Noticing her co-host’s head was lowered toward the table, Navarro urged, “Stay with us, Whoopi! Stay with us!”

One Of Goldberg’s Co-Hosts Teased That She Was ‘Excused’ From The Table

As her co-hosts continued the conversation, Goldberg pretended to lose her grip on reality, attempting to get up from the table. She also turned around several times during the discussion and stood up from her seat. She even told an off-camera crew member, “I’m out,” causing the studio audience to burst out in laughter.

Behar teased, “Whoopi, you’re excused. You’re excused from this conversation. Take a nap.” Goldberg responded to this with a “Yes, please!” She then dropped the act to announce the commercial break, saying, “You know what? I’ll get this all straightened out. We’ll be right back.”

The episode has since been released on The View’s official YouTube page. Since then, fans have also been sharing their reactions on social media. Some comments included:
