“When you see this perfect table, you go for it.” Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed an official trailer for a crime thriller film called Dead Money, a crime thriller from director Luc Walpoth, which also goes under Degenerate. This will be releasing on VOD right away in September if anyone wants to give it a look. After a violent home game robbery, a pro poker hustler and his girlfriend are caught up in a whirlwind night that ends in Andy playing the biggest game of his life, while both their lives hang in the balance. Starring Emile Hirsch and India Eisley as Andy and Chloe, David Keith, Peter Facinelli, Jimmy Jean-Louis, with Rory Culkin and Jackie Earle Haley. The film follows pro poker player Andy and his girlfriend Chloe who get wrapped up in a crazy 24 hours after a home poker game is robbed. It takes place in one night as we find out if he can win the game of his life. This looks pretty cheesy overall, doubtful that it will be the new Rounders. This gangster bad guys trope in many scripts is getting a tad boring. Just play some good poker.
