Direct from Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, Prime Video has revealed the amazing full trailer for Season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series. Debuting at the end of August in about one month from now. For Season 2, as we all know from the finale of Season 1: Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will. Building on Season 1’s epic scope and ambition, Season 2 plunges even its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a rising tide of darkness, challenging each to find their place in a world that is increasingly on the brink of calamity. The Season 2 ensemble cast includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Ema Horvath, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle, & Markella Kavenagh. This is an extraordinarily epic 4-minute trailer, packed with everything from Middle Earth: rings, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Ents, Balrogs, battles galore, and wizards, including Tom Bombadil. It looks like it’s going to top the 1st season in every way. Yes, please.
