First Teaser for Art the Clown’s Crazy Brutal Horror Sequel ‘Terrifier 3’

“Santa!” The mad clown is back! Cineverse & Bloody Disgusting have unveiled a controversial teaser trailer for horror sequel Terrifier 3, next in the Terrifier series of gory slasher flicks by writer / director Damien Leone. Last year, Leone’s Terrifier 2 became a sleeper hit earning an impressive total of $10M at the box office, indicating audiences really want to see some insanely brutal horror. In the third film, Art the Clown will unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve. 🎄 Leone adds: “We’re shooting in anamorphic widescreen, so I want it to feel more like an old-school John Carpenter movie. It’s going to still have that epic feel of part two, but now have the tone of part one with Christmas. It’s going to be a completely different beast… It’s going to feel different, but it’s still going to have everything you love in it. But it’s going to be very fresh. It’s not going to be like you’re sitting through part one or two all over again.” Well that’s a relief. Don’t watch this trailer if you can’t stomach edgy horror.

Art the Clown is set to unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve. This third film is centered around Art the Clown and it is the fourth feature-length film to include the character (after the anthology film All Hallows’ Eve) in the Terrifier franchise. Terrifier 3 is once again written and directed by by indie genre filmmaker Damien Leone, a special effects makeup artist + director of the horror films All Hallows’ Eve, Frankenstein vs. the Mummy, Terrifier, and the smash hit Terrifier 2 previously. It’s produced by Phil Falcone; executive produced by G. Brandon Hill, Chris McGurk, and Brad Miska. This hasn’t been confirmed for any film festivals yet – stay tuned. Cineverse & Bloody Disgusting will debut Leone’s Terrifier 3 in theaters natiowide on October 25th, 2024 next year.
