“I think there is something going on here… that we don’t fully understand.” You don’t say? FX Networks / Hulu have revealed the main official trailer for a crime thriller mystery series called A Murder at the End of the World, arriving for streaming this November. It’s the latest creation of filmmakers Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij, creators of “The OA” series and collaborators on Sound of My Voice & The East previously. They’re sticking with TV once again for another twisty series. Emma Corrin stars as Darby Hart, a Gen Z amateur sleuth, who attempts to solve a murder at a secluded retreat. In this Hulu series, which puts a new spin on the classic whodunit, Darby and 11 other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must fight to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life. This was shot in Iceland (and in Utah), and now I just want to visit this snowy cabin and spend some time there, too.
Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for FX’s series A Murder at the End of the World, from YouTube:
