“Never let the two lives touch.” Hmmm what do we have here? WB has debuted a 60-second promo spot for the M. Night Shyamalan movie Trap, arriving in theaters next month. It starts out like a music video for the pop star in the movie – 🐦⬛ Lady Raven, played by M. Night’s real daughter Saleka Shyamalan (aka just “Saleka” – who is actually a singer in real life, too). Her new single “Save Me” made for the movie has been released online ahead of the movie’s opening – hence this promo. Josh Hartnett stars as a father who takes his daughter to a pop star concert. However, while there they discover that the concert is all a setup to catch a serial killer. But who is the killer? He is. How will he escape? The cast includes Ariel Donoghue, Hayley Mills, and Allison Pill. With cinematography by Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (of Call Me by Your Name). This isn’t really a full-on music video, it cuts into footage from the movie with Hartnett looking sly & sinister. There’s something mysterious about this spot, as if it’s hinting at something more going on in. Check it out.
