“When’s the last time you sold anything?” Netlfix has unveiled the first look trailer for a new comedy series titled Tires, the latest comedy concept featuring the comedian Shane Gillis in the lead role (as “Shane”). This was initially revealed as part of Netflix’s annual “Netflix is a Joke Fest” comedy event, which is why the trailer is launching now to go along with the launch there. Will, the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis). A new sit-com with a bunch of tire shop workers. The series is co-created by Gillis, Steven Gerben, and McKeever – all three credited as writers & exec producers. Tires also stars Gerben, Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias, with guest appearances by Andrew Schulz. There’s a few funny moments in here, but can they sustain this humor for the entire series and beyond? Check it out.
